Glass shatters! Honest.

Today I just wanted to sit on my big butt and watch TV. I was tired and "needed" to veg and do nothing. Oh like that was going to happen. I pulled my cushion out so I could lay down and close my eyes for just one episode of the Backyardagins. My lids grow heavy and shut, thats when I hear *CRASH* "Mommy I dropped the jar". Okay lets stop here and back up to why my daughter would be telling me about a dropped jar. Rose was told that she could only play with Playdough after she had lunch. It was only 10:00 am and I had just fed her breakfast and thought, good I have at least 2 hours before the next feeding. This where we pick up on our previous story. Please play the 70's flash back tune in your head. Okay so *CRASH*! As I make my way towards the kitchen where the unknown "jar" has hit the floor I see a flash that I can only presume to be Rose, making her get away from the scene of the crime. I can now see the "jar" on the floor. This vessal was once filled to the top with strawberry jelly. It has shattered and spread its shards across my newly mopped floor. I am not happy! But this is not the strange part, spread nicely across our table are the fixings for a sandwich; bread, peanut butter, knife, milk and...Playdough. Yes, you guessed right my sweet darling has taken it upon herself to make her own sandwich and get that darn lunch thing out of the way and get down to the Playdough. Had she not dropped the jar on the floor I honestly believe she would have gotten away with her little scheme. Not only is she smart but she is industrious. Excuse me I have to go and rethink my parenting strategies for I have been out witted.
