The top one is my least favorite, but I can't put my finger on why. Just a little cluttered I guess. I'd give it a 5.
The middle one is actually my favorite. The facial expression is strong enough that I don't even notice the background. Granted, it would be better with a shallower depth of field, but I still really like it. I'd give it an 8.
The third one is a fantastic album photo, but I'd agree, not a portfolio photo. A 7 for cuteness.

Daisy I agree with you. I worked with the lighting on the first one so maybe I should have left it alone. I will just keep trying.
