Learned a neat Easter egg trick - write or draw on the eggs with white crayon before dyeing them. The dye won't stick where the crayon was, so you see the markings in white.
Maybe with brown eggs you'd need a tan crayon. But maybe white would work...

We have no white eggs so we did the best with what we had!
