Super size me


Okay I am joining a good friend of mine who gave up fast food. Edson has nearly made his one month goal. I am going to take this challenge too. I hear by give up soda and fast food! I just watched super size me for the second time and it made me sick and so NO MORE FAST FOOD! I need to be held accountable so I will post on my progress every once and a while. Here it goes. Thank you Edson for this fantastic idea and lets hope I can do as well as you. I hope my super sized me down sizes after all this!

Uh oh. Look what I've done.

Let me tell you, it hasn't been easy. I had Lori stock up on certain quick and tasty foods for me. I didn't want to do too much at once - breaking the fast food habit was a big enough challenge for me. I'm not eating very healthy, but it's got to be better than my former diet.

If you're going out somewhere around mealtime, plan ahead. Eat a snack, take something with you, adjust your schedule. You just have to believe that the drive thru is closed, broken, vanished... not an option.

How are the early stages of withdrawal? Are you getting the shakes yet? Hopefully not milkshakes...

How's it going without grease? Feeling lighter, or at least, less queasy? That's how fast food always makes me feel. It tastes good going in, but then it just sits in my stomach and mocks me. Hope your will power is staying strong. Especially now that you have transportation!

Okay yah all.

I had Pizza for lunch does that count and oh yah a small cup of coke. So I am weak. I didn't however eat out with my family and instead went to the gym.

Hope you still love me. I promise to do better tomorrow

Good question about pizza. I didn't count it, but I've only had it once since I started this (plus a couple of the frozen Soutffers variety). Then again, nobody delivers out here, so that makes it easier. You'll have to decide on your own boundaries I guess.

I think pizza is a'okay. So long as you don't eat the whole pizza (obviously not counting personal size!)... and it's not that greasy. (There are some kinds out there like that!) Good luck!

Well, I slipped again. It's amazingly hard, at least for me.

I did eat vegetarian all day yesterday though. Not healthy, mind you. But no meat.

I'm trying really hard though...
